Dr. Alexandre Nehme performs hip, knee and shoulder arthroscopy, as well as ACL surgery (including double bundle surgery and revision ACL surgery), meniscal surgery, femoro-acetabular impingement (FAI) surgery, osteotomies, partial and total joint surgery, and fracture surgery.
His clinical and research interests are focused on joint-preservation surgery of the knee and hip, an area of expertise in which he excelled while dedicating himself to two years of additional training at the Toulouse University and in the Mayo Clinic in Rochester Minnesota, respectively..
Dr. Nehme began his academic study at Paul Sabatier University, where he attained numerous academic honors. Later, he would begin his medical training at Rangueil University Medical Center and would continue his training at the Mayo Clinic. Throughout his career, some of the accolades that Dr. Nehme has received include three Gold Medals for ranking first in his second, third and fourth Medical School years, the Rieunaud Award for Excellence in Orthopedic Surgery. The latter is evidence of Dr. Nehme's commitment to providing quality care for all patients, a mission encompassed by his interest in health policy initiatives.
