Dr. Nehme performs partial and total joint surgery, hip, knee, shoulder and ankle arthroscopy, as well as ACL surgery (including double bundle surgery and revision ACL surgery), meniscal surgery, femoro-acetabular impingement (FAI) surgery, osteotomies, and fracture surgery.
His clinical and research interests are focused on joint-preservation surgery of the hip, an area of expertise in which he excelled while dedicating himself to two years of additional training at the University of Toulouse France, and the Mayo Clinic in Rochester Mn, respectively.
Additionally, Dr. Nehme has a deep interest in joint replacement surgery and computer assisted surgery technology.
Dr. Nehme began his academic study at Paul Sabatier University, where he attained numerous academic honors. Later, he would continue his training at the Rangueil Hospital, Toulouse France, at André Mignot Hospital, Versailles and finally at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester Mn. Throughout his career, some of the accolades that Dr. Nehme has received include the Gold Medal Award of Paul Sabatier university (1992,1993) for excellence during medical studies, The Gold Medal of Paul Sabatier University in the year 2000 for the best Medical Thesis, and the Rieunaud Award for Excellence in Orthopaedic Surgery in 2002 (Best Junior attending).
